In 1985 a deadly outbreak turns the world's population into zombies. A rogue group of military people get stuck in a small town after a weapons deal goes bad. The leader of the military group Sgt. Bruce Paxton wants to rob a group of rich yuppies and gets caught in the mist of the zombie outbreak in the small town. The plague spreads worldwide and scientist Winston McCoy is the only man that can figure out what is causing the outbreak. Dr. McCoy has been missing for a few years and his estranged daughter Tanya Randall goes looking for him.
