Being a divorced woman in Mexico of the 1950's. Chofi "Malena Cervantes" and Alberto del Valle "David Silva" are about to marry, so the night before she has a hen-party while he's got his stag-party. That night her friends let her know that it takes more than modern appliances to make a happy husband.
