Gharwali Baharwali ratings (Movie, 1988)

Sunil Khanna comes from an upper middle-class family and lives with his dad, mom, and a younger sister. He obtains employment with Dhabawala & Dhabawala as an Assistant Sales Manager. His parents now would like him to get married and settle down. His mom and dad, Umesh, meet with his friend, Mehra, and his daughter, Kala. They approve of Kala. Unknown to them, Sunil has met with an attractive young woman named Beena, and is in love with her. When told that he is to marry Kala at any cost, Sunil, at first refuses, but then gives in, and marries her. After his marriage to Kala, Sunil dismally contemplates his future, and decides that he can stay married, and still have his love-life, and hence decides to make Beena his mistress. But will Beena agree to play second-fiddle and being a mistress?
