Surf N Turf
Murtaugh and Riggs are sent to deal with a noise complaint at a party. And when they arrive there are shots fired. They chase the shooter only he was killed. They go back to the Captain who is with an ATF agent who tells them the weapon that was used is strictly for military use, which means someone got their hands on some and are trying to sell it. Riggs upon looking over what happened doesn't think the one who was killed is the target. They think it's someone else, a woman. They track her down and learn she's from Russia and pregnant. She tells them that a few months ago she got involved with a guy and she caught him trying to unload the guns and when he saw her, he tried to kill her that's why she ran. And evidently, the shooter was there to sell the gun when he saw her and told probably the guy she was there, who told him to take care of her. They put her in protective custody while they try to find out were the guns came from. Murtaugh finally learns about Riggs and his wife.

Riggs and Murtaugh follow a violent case involving a drug cartel, theft, two killings and, unfortunately, Murtaugh's old T.O., Ned Brower. As the case unfolds, it turns out that Ned is more involved than just driving the cash, which leaves Murtaugh with an inevitably dangerous decision to make. Looking for back-up, the duo turns to Cruz for help. In the midst of all the chaos, Riggs continues to depend on outside vices, rather than face the reality of Miranda's death, while Murtaugh and Trish struggle to find alone time.

The Seal Is Broken
Riggs and Murtaugh investigate the death of a man who was in a hotel apparently who died of an overdose. But Scorsese says that's not what happened. Obviously he was meeting someone and not his wife. They find "sinner" written on the room. They learn from his wife that a man was harassing him so they took a restraining order. They go to the man who runs and pulls a gun. He thinks they want him for violating the restraining order. They bring him in and learn his sister was one of the ones the man was seeing on the side and that he made her try drugs and she died of an overdose. They find a vehicle that was following the man and find sinner written in the van and they find what appears to be a freshly dug grave and they find a woman buried who's still alive. She's unconscious so they can't talk to her. They learn she works at a retirement home and that she's been killing some of the residents for their insurance by suffocating them which is what she would have died from. They learn both people went to the same church and the priest hints he knows what they did but can't say anything because they confessed. They check the confessional and find a bug in it. Riggs after one of his benders wakes up to find a woman with him which freaks him out. And Murtaugh freaks out when his son announces his plans which don't include college.

As Good as It Getz
When there's a shooting at a coffee shop and among the victims is a DEA agent. Murtaugh and Riggs go to investigate and are joined by DEA agent Palmer. A witness tells them that after the shooting, someone ran out like a scared rabbit. The witness points out his picture on the bus and they learn he's Leo Getz, a sleazy lawyer. They find him and he says he was there to meet with the DEA agent because he has a client who was going to testify against his employers. He claims he was in the bathroom when it happened. They let him go and follow him and he goes to see someone who also works for the Cartel. They're about to approach him when Palmer shows up. That's when some shooters show up. They take care of them. They sense Getz could be In danger so they keep him close. Riggs asks Palmer why is she sticking her nose in their case. She says she was suppose to be at that meeting. Later they talk to the man Leo approached and he tells them the actual target was not there. That's when Riggs realizes who the actual target is and tries to stop it. Trish makes a decision about her career which shocks Roger.
