Blunt the Edge
When Erich Blunt's grandfather commits suicide, the police find he did so with the same gun used to kill Blunt's biological father, Kevin Nyers. That evidence is enough to get Chris Walton out of San Quentin. In the investigation against Blunt, they make a few incorrect assumptions along the way but eventually begin to connect the dots: they identify the killer; learn that the gun had been given to Erich Blunt; and they know who delivered the gun to the hired killer on Blunt's behalf. However, District Attorney Jacqueline Perez makes it clear that she will not arrest Blunt for the murder of Kevin Nyers unless they have absolute proof of his guilt. As the police close in on him, Blunt finds those in his circle begin to abandon him.
