The only significant storage option, the garage shed, is full with free junk cleaner Virgina obsessively took whenever clients allowed some junk to be taken home. Hearing Sabrina, dressed as Robin, is stood up by steady friend Wyatt, Jimmy volunteers as her Batman, pretending to have a costume around, by Wyatt turns up after all. Jimmy is shocked to learn the scary masked man who spoiled all trick or treats for him, even as an adolescent, is none other than his own father. The motive may be evil and yet sweet, but is still inspires an even crueler trick while Jimmy's unreliable mates are supposed to babysit Hope.

As Hope's baby-phone accidentally tunes into a neighboring house's, ear-dropping Burt discovers Andrew is being grossly abused by his tyrannical, impossible to please wife Donna and wants to help. Virginia is reluctant to risk being seen as a nosy neighbor, but agrees to help by example, which proves harder then expected.

Despite the extra stress that causes, they are determined to counter Hope's genetic handicap with good examples, as Sabrina claims that counts for more then hereditary traits. Jimmy still goes see her maternal grandfather, who is doing convict labor, and arrives at a surprising conclusion.

Strangely enough waking up in Franks house after a night of partying lets Jimmy discover a new side to Frank, one that he really wants to bond with to the rest of the families horror. Discovering they were bullied by the same guy back in school, Jimmy and Frank set off on a quest for revenge that has some pretty surprising revelations in store for everyone involved.

But when he returns to reality, he soon realizes that life without Hope would not be nearly as sweet.

Meanwhile, the mayor of Natesville grants Virginia three wishes after she helps her avoid a public scandal, but when Jimmy turns down the mayor's advances, Sabrina's chances of being exonerated are put at risk.

Sabrina's new study buddy Philip is a gorgeous hunk, so Virginia convinces Jimmy he must be considered a likely rival, probably harder to eliminate than Wyatt. A dirty trick with text messages after stealing her phone does the trick, but only leads to the arrival of another stud, Philip. In the process, Burt gets hold of a tacky 'boobs mobile', which proves a bizarre success with his neighborhood mates. Jimmy comes up with a backup theory based on Sabrina's ample supplies of everything, but learns it's rooted in a family trauma.

Jealous of Maw-maw's equally memory-impaired lover Hubert, who gets her on weed, Virginia feels it's time for Burt and her to engage together in crazy risks again, only to find out how it all started with a failed attempt to climb the broadcasting tower, the local pubertal initiation rite.

Baby Phat
Jimmy and Sabrina agree to go for a baby of their own, now as it's the right phase in her ovulation cycle nine months before the 'ideal birth moth' November. They are however disturbed all weekend by Maw-Maw, whom his parents dumped on them shamelessly sneakily to join Barney on 'free product demonstration holiday', and sleepless Frank. The 'retreat' turns out to be a 'fat camp' diet nightmare for fat gluttons, where Barney needs to show them off as his ideal disciples to get his former XXL pants in the hall of fame. After grudgingly playing along, Burt and Virginia are locked up for seeking candy, but escape.

Dinner with Tropes
Jimmy stages a funeral for Hope's dead goldfish, as for all his former pets, and worries with Sabrina over her apparent lack of emotion, which persist with a mouse. Burt and Virgina finally get another shot at performing their crazy duo act on local TV at a library benefit telethon hosted by Barney. Burt is however left waiting alone as Virginia's cleaning company boss Louise, who treats her hot juvenile latest husband Talon like a child, drags her along, in view of a managerial promotion, to the sleazy clubs where she conducts business.

Para-Natesville Activity
Jimmy and Sabrina show remarkable patience, each time could in for a fictitious 'emergency', while the only real issue is Virginia no longer believing in the supernatural and Burt refusing to let her break with a family tradition upheld even by Maw-maw, who claims there's a ghost in her room. Virginia's attempt to disprove it gets her doubting again, but Burt accidentally finds out it's only the domestic 'rent in kind' of their sex tapes-admirer Jim, who has been camping in the tiny bomb shelter they never realized being dug under the Chance house, to observe the (model couple' now his own marriage is near breaking point. Yet that's more ghostly then it sounds.

Man's Best Friend
Jimmy enjoys generous extras from the snack stand girl, until jealous Sabrina suggests it's because of Hope, so he tries out whether he's still a chick magnet in his own cute right. Jimmy and Sabrina put afoot down against Burt and Virginia constantly taking Hpe home, even making her miss school, as seniors occupational therapy. They consider a hobby, but Virginia makes Burt grudgingly accept taking a dog from the asylum. Michael however finds there they're blacklisted as a family on account of an incident with Jimmy. So they must take elaborate dog owner tests, during which Michaerl suspiciously enjoys playing the dog.

How I Met Your Mullet
Jimmy discovers an intruder in his home, which turns out Sabrina's late grandmother's excellent maid Eleanor. Both regret having to part with her pampering as they can't pay staff until they learn the testament provides for her salary, yet the couple starts fearing to give earlier spoiled Hope a terrible example. Since a promotion and raise, Virginia earns more then Burt, even enough for the couple, so they agree he scan retire and pursue his passion, but finding it -having presumed it would be the other way around- proves far from easy, notably following his hero bounty hunter Mullet's example a mind-changing adventure.
