Ex-government agent and one of the FBI's Most Wanted fugitives, Raymond "Red" Reddington (James Spader) mysteriously turns himself in to the FBI and offers to give up everyone he has ever worked with including a long-thought-dead terrorist but under one condition - he'll only talk to newly-minted female FBI profiler, Elizabeth Keen (Megan Boone) with whom he seemingly has no connection. They try to find out what happened and they discover that somehow the security system was neutralized with tech from an American Company. One of the company's officers tells them to check out one of their former employees who was fired. When they find the man he claims he's been framed. Later one of officers of the terrorists comes to the US and meets with the officer of the Tech Company. He needs to find what the ones who broke in stole. In the meantime they get a lead which they show to Samar, she leaves and meets with the man they're looking for to tell them the FBI is looking for him. The terrorist with help from the officer learns Samar was one of the ones who broke into the Seafood Company and took what they are looking for. So they grab Samar, they learn about what she did and try to find her. Red tries to see the President to get Liz her pardon but the President's people won't let him.
